When you get a new Apple device, it will automatically get registered on iCloud.com and be added to your list of devices. The same thing happens whether this is a new phone, or a device lent to you by 1823 Group. When you no longer need the device, you will need to remove it from iCloud to make it usable for other people.
As the iCloud account owner, you will need to do the following to unlink the device from iCloud:
If you still have the actual device: To remove a device from iCloud, simply go to Settings > iCloud > Sign Out.
If the device is no longer with you:
- Go to https://www.icloud.com/ and select Find iPhone:
- Click All Devices, then select the device to remove.
- Click Erase [device], then enter your Apple ID password.
- When the device is erased, click Remove from Account.
